Reimbursement of 50% of Integrations Course fee, Germany

If you have successfully completed the integration course within two years after the issue of eligibility, you are eligible to receive a refund of half the cost contribution.

The prerequisite is that both tests have been successfully passed i.e. „Deutschtest für Zuwanderer“ (DTZ B1) and the Test „Leben in Deutschland“ (LiD).

Documents Needed:

  1. Completed and Signed Application form.
  2. Copy of the “Integration course certificate”
  3. Copy of the both Individual test certificates i.e. B1 & LiD (optional)
  4. Copy of the paid receipts (optional)

The above mentioned documents must be sent to the responsible reginal BAMF office.

Due to Covid, many schools were forced to cancel or postpone the language classes. As a result, what would normally take 6-8 months to finish the course now takes a year or more.

Nevertheless, the officials are all well aware of the situation and restrictions in place. And hence, the deadline of the said 2 years has been extended accordingly.
