Met office issued Weather Warning for Storm Ciara approaching this weekend

Named by the Met Office on Wednesday, the low-pressure system is currently developing in the North Atlantic and will track eastwards towards the UK and Ireland over the coming days. Over the weekend wind gusts will widely reach 50-60 mph across many inland areas, with gusts of 80 mph or higher in coastal areas and exposed locations - Metoffice

Saturday:

Central and eastern parts staying dry with sunny spells. Showers in the northwest will be replaced by persistent rain later, heavy at times with severe gales developing.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Storm Ciara will bring wet and very windy conditions on Sunday. Staying windy early next week and turning colder with wintry showers, these most frequent and heavy in the north.
