- Passport applications of minors should be accompanied by passport copies of parents, their resident permit/visa copies and Meldebescheinigung.
- Passport for new born child will require the registration of birth first.
- A temporary application ID will be generated, when you fill the application online. You can fill it partially and save it, and can revisit your application with the same ID. A new no. will be generated once it is completed and submitted.
- If you are married, it is better to submit the marriage certificate too, even though it is not mentioned in the document list. They will ask for it later, and you will have to resend it by post. In case you send a soft copy, they charge you for every print that needs to be taken.
- Do not forget to get your residence permit reissued, upon recieving the new passport.
