European Marathi Sammelan(EMS) is the biggest European Marathi community get-together and celebration of Marathi culture, art, and literature. This event first started in 1998 in the Netherlands and it takes place every two years in a different European city. In 2020, it is going to be held in Germany!!!
EMS gives Maharashtrian community in Europe a chance to celebrate their traditions, showcase their talents and get an exclusive opportunity to chat with many celebrities from Maharashtra. Participants of this Sammelan get an opportunity to watch plays, orchestras, stand-ups, chat shows etc of famous Marathi artists during this 3-day event.
